OUR House

We contacted the realtor that James's parents used, and the realtor was busy and referred us to another realtor with in the company.  We were very excited.  we would get a fenced yard, we would be able to have dog and be the statistical family, white pickett fence and 3.5 kids and a dog.  We started to look at houses.  I was more nervous that James.  He was more excited than ever.  How can you think anything bad can come from something he wanted so badly?  Took over three weeks to find one that we really wanted, we looked at over 30 houses.  We made the offer.  the countered.  we countered back.  (I was starting to crunch the numbers and the pressures and during this countering time was wondering big time if we were doing the right thing, I actually at one point didn't think we should have done it, but didn't say or do anything about what I was feeling because James was so happy and excited and his parents reflected it.  And they would know if he couldn't do it, they would know more than me right? cause they have dealt with this for many years, most of his life)  They Countered again, we countered back and they accepted.  We just bought a house, in one day!  WOW.  Home owners.

We talked about the best way to move, end of September, we both didn't have many friends and the friends that we did have didn't have trucks.  We knew that only his mom and dad would be most likely the only help we would get, and we had a couple of little kids that would get in the way.  So Jame's Mom would watch the kids anyways, which takes out a set of hands to help move.  that would leave me and James and his dad.  That is not that much people for a big family of 4.  so even though it would cost more, we decided to go with movers.  And we put it on a credit card and said, well, we can pay it off in time right? We were getting a lot of debt at this time, the move, setting up bills, eating out was sometimes easier than running home, since home was now 30 minutes away from everything.

This is where the real trouble seemed to start.
